Performance:

Hold: Strong
Shine: Medium Shine
Fragrance: Classic floral barbershop

Sweet Georgia Brown is a classic brand for pomade made originally in Chicago and was a best seller in North America. It was first produced in 1934. A series of advertising campaigns made Sweet Georgia Brown a popular pomade for men and women in the 1940s. Because it offered elegant shine, tamed tangled hair and helped with split ends. Over the decades, Sweet Georgia Brown became the epitome of barbers in America and beyond. The Sweet Georgia Brown Pomade is still made according to the same great recipe today. In a beautiful, nostalgic tin that makes a fine figure in every barbershop and bathroom.

"My favorite classic pomade and huge inspiration to the Lockhart's brand of old school pomades has to be Sweet Georgia Brown Pomades. Both the Red tin and the Blue tin. Before I began making my own pomades the only products that gave me the performance that my thick hair needed was Sweet Georgia Brown. The Red tin was my go to for Michigan Winters, and then a combination of the Blue tin with a topper of the Red tin for shine for the hotter months. Admittedly, it was the fragrance that really captivated me the most. It's still nostalgic to me this day. I love this stuff!"
