Shear Revival Upstate Blues Texture Wax

i saw this as a texture wax and decided to get it, people said it was like northern lights but less dry, which they (i think) are right, it definitely quite alot of texture and volume. okay lets begin, lets start with the scent, its, pungent... to say the least, its like if you could smell a flashbang, i dont like it. tho, the hold is good, its firm, id say its a bit lighter hold than it, the shine is low, tho its noticeable, its not bad at all, its pretty neutral for the most part, i dont know about the endurance tho, cause i dont use hair products much other than if im going out to like restaurants, events, etc. i tested it 2 days ago by putting it on for an hour, the texture, volume, and hold retained just the same when i applied it, i dont know about sweating or it over long periods of time tho, someone said that after a 1 hour gym session it was still good for the most part, someone else said after 9 hours it was still pretty good, so it definitely outlasts northern lights. the tug and pull isnt bad and it washes out with a shampoo (i have their loom shampoo). overall id say its a 4.5/5 (decent 9! ill round it up to a 5 cause i cant go inbetween).

The “scent” is overwhelming and frankly awful - the best comparison would be insect repellent. Perhaps it’s the cedar element ? but it was unbearable and unwearable. Found it hard to use as well as it seized up and tugged on application. Overall, a complete miss ! I would givevthis a zero star rating if I could.
